The Grey's Scouts were the mounted infantry unit for theRhodesian Security Force formed in the latter part of the 1970's and were a very effective special forces unit for running down the enemy.
We believe that the title and badge design were later used by the Ciskei Forces, which after 1980 were being run by ex-Rhodesian officers.
